Frequent crashes

I use the latest OS, all up-to-date, on my Mac, iPad and iPhone. The Todo software is simple enough to use and it syncs well etc. My single biggest complaint is with the frequent crashes of the Mac version. I have not lost data yet, but it sure is odd the developers are not addressing this much reported isue. I have experienced no crashes with the iPad and iPhone versions.

Has everything I need

I’ve been using Todo for many years. It can handle tasks as simple or as complex as I need. Having a desktop app which mirrors the mobile app and vice versa makes task management a breeze. And the customer support is excellent.

Sync problems one after another. Very unreliable

[As of April, 2015] The current version of Todo for Mac has a sync problem with Todo for iOS when synced over Dropbox or iCloud which is marked as a Known Issue on Appigo support site. This is not the first time. I previously experienced a different iCloud sync issue with these guys which forced me to switch to Dropbox sync. Perhaps they can no longer afford to pay enough attention to paid Todo app (non-subscription) users. [Update as of Jan, 2016] Now Toodledo sync is broken.

Very good app

Very good app. Help me organize my work and private life. Very useful in many methodologies (i.e. GTD). I use it with toodledo or appigo online services but offline app is much beter. Few minor bugs frequently fixed

No print option?

App is slow, no print option.

BEST!

Absolutely best for me from all task managers (I have OmniFocus and try Things, 2Do...) - simply, clear, best ergonomic...

areas to improve

Todo is a very convenient and logical planner. But 2 issues make the work not perfect: no "tasks duration" option (no start date) and no tasks allocation on "calendar view". 1. Whilst tasks have no duration (start date), they come to the focus only by approaching time of "due date". However, some tasks require different duration for completion, so treating "short-duration" and "long-duration" tasks should be different. It would be much more convenient if a task comes to the focus by "start date" - that means I have to start working on it! Whilst sorting should be kept by "due date" - that makes a signal of what must be completed sooner! 2. Whilst assigning "start/due dates" to projects tasks it would be convenient to see how they connect/overlap with other projects tasks and ensure that I spread my workload wise. "Calendar view" with tasks duration-bars (line on Gantt chart) would be the good solution.

copy/past

hey guys, copy/past doesnt work in your new release. Trying to insert copied note to a task - nothing appears there. Bad bad work … )))

iCloud Drive sync not working

I love the app, but can’t use cause iCloud Drive sync isn’t working. Guys, it’s ridiculous. I could understand it when the app didn’t sync in beta OS, but it’s public now. You had like several months to make the Drive work. It constantly rely on Todo, but it just doesn’t work on desktop now. Is it your way of saying: "If you don’t pay for for Todo Cloud, we don’t care how you’ll use it"?

worst thing ever been bought

* sync doesnt work even with dropbox (of course - no iCloud) * support just asking to buy ToDo Sync subscription the only a disappointment…

Do not update if use Toodledo sync

It doesnt work any more. It works on iOS devices. But not on El Capitano. Very very sad. Thinking of moving to an other app instead.

still no emailing the tasks?

one star instead of five… because ALL To Do apps give the possibility to email the tasks, that is not sharing - we shouldnt need a pro account and to pay just for that… after all this waiting..in vain

Continuously crashes

It’s a great app when works! It crashes so frequently on El Captain that I am only using it on iOS now. Nonsense for a professional app!

Tried a few and this one fits my needs perfectly!

This planning/to do app is just right. It has all the features I was looking for, but it is perfectly simple to use and appears uncluttered. The app doesn’t get in your way or make planning and tracking tasks a chore. I’ve tried apps that were too simple (missing features and didn’t allow the level of planning/task management I needed), and apps that had all the features but felt cumbersome to use. This one hits the sweet spot - full featured, but beautifully simple, clean look and interface. The advanced options are there, but they don’t overwhelm the interface. They’re easy enough to find, but not in your face if you don’t need them. I highly recommend this app. No bugs/glitches, perfectly functional, powerful without feeling complex. Well worth the price - no hidden charges or subscription required for a solid app that meets most people’s needs.

Agree with last reviewer. Good app, poor support, Mac App Store also at fault.

Besides the issues below, sync has stopped working between the ios and mac versions of the app. Todo is a good basic app if you have less than 30 or 40 things and data corruption is not an issue. It has good potential, the developers could improve the sync problems and overall app issues and make it a great utility. I upgraded to verion 3.0.4 from 3.0.2 on the App Store. The app stopped working with my supported OS version. I too was told they can reproduce the problem, but offered no fix, no previous version, just an offer to be a beta tester….(?) Software that was working and Ive paid for simply has stopped working. When you have your work and personal tasks on a software program, syncing between desktops and mobiles, going a week without it is a significant hiccup. Apple is also at fault for annihilating the last version of software updated from their App Store and offering no mechanism to download previous versions. At least on iOS apps you can pull updated apps out of the trash when they are upgraded to failure! Simply going back to 3.0.2 would fix the issue for me but this simple solution seems to be too difficult for Apple or the developers to arrange.

Used to be superb, now useless - won’t sync over iCloud

I have had ToDo in many incarnations, going back to some of its earliest releases, but for the last _three_months_, Appigo has been unable to make its sync function with iCloud. At first, there were reasonably frequent “coming soon” updates on Appigo’s website, but increasingly, those have dried up. It’s not even clear that they have a fix in mind. Meantime, it’s about to be replaced on all my devices.

Lost Sync via iCloud

I used to be able to sync this app via iCloud with my iPhone and iPad but with this update (and migration to Yosemite) this broke down, very disappointing!

Loved it until I hated it - Yosemetie upgrade took away iCloud sync

It’s almost January and still Appigo hasn’t found a way to figure out iCloud sync? They’ve known since August where the heck are they? I used to use this app for everything but it has been completely unusable for me for months now. I’m going to have to migrate everything to another platform, and once I do that I’m not going to do that again. They’ve lost me forever.

Favorite!

One of my favorite apps. I use it daily for myall my routines.

Beautiful, but flawed sync with Toodledo after Yosemite

I’ve used Todo on my iOS devices and Mac for some time and enjoyed the interface. But now my Toodledo sync has been scrammed (won’t sync anything without a folder assignment and the Inbox doesn’t correspond to anything in Toodledo) and I can’t make it right. I don’t have any issues with other apps I use regularly (2Do, Informant, Toodledo) so I have to isolate the trouble to Todo. It’s a shame because I enjoy a few of the apps features for scheduling, etc. I’ve withdrawn ToDo for Mac from my ecosystem pending a refresh later than 3.0.2 that specifically calls out addressing the trouble.
